How does it work?

The extension allows you add your webcam image along with lot of different documents / files from your drive. This will allow you to present inside meet (or any other video conferencing tool) with your webcam image side by side with the presentation. You can also record the tab directly with a screen recording tool like screencastify or loom. You can see user guides under the explanation section

What restrictions are there on the free version?

The free version allows a 20 minute presentation. There are no other limitations.
